Alan Smith

Alan Joseph Smith, of Bangor, ME, passed away peacefully at the age of 43, surrounded by his family on May 21st, 2025, after suffering an anoxic brain injury. He left this earth to the music of one of his favorite rappers Eminem.

Alan is survived by his mother Angela Goss, sister Alisha Goss, sister in-law Stephanie Goss, children Reilly, Ethan, Hailey, Zachary, and Caylee. He is also survived by his grandfather Kenneth Goss and his wife Linda Goss. His cousins Jeremy, Julia, Deserae, and Kai, and his aunt and uncles Karen, Ken, and Chris. Furthermore, he is survived by several second cousins Kenzie, Kaelin, Zoie, and Zach, and his nieces Audia and Charlotte, as well as his father Mike Smith. Lastly, he is survived by his dear friend who was always there for him Chris Cyr.

Alan was a unique person and a free soul. He loved listening to music, going on walks, riding his bike, tinkering with things, and making TikTok videos. He had a love for playing games on Temu and I'm sure if you knew Alan you have received many Temu links from him.

Alan overcame many challenges in his life and had a sense of humor and laugh that was certainly distinguishable from others. He had a good heart, a strong heart, that fought until the very end. He was resilient and faced life's adversities with a smile.

Though Alan has left this physical earth, his memory will live on through his friends and family. A celebration of life will be held for him on June 28th, 2025. The location and time are to be determined.

Alan's spirit is free from the pains of this earth. He was loved, and will be missed by many.
