Anthony Michael Tripp

Anthony Michael Tripp, known by his family as Mikey passed away on October 13, 2026 at the Maine Veteran's Home in Bangor, Maine at the age of 72. He was predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Rita and Edwin H. Meeks, Sr and his brother Edwin (Eddie) Meeks, Junior. He is survived by his three sisters, Linda Caler, Billie Jo Cole, and Mary Gebert, multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mikey graduated from Bangor high school in 1974 and was a proud supporter of the Bangor Rams. He went on to get his CNA certification and then went on to the Navy. In the U.S. Navy where he was surgical technician instructor and medic. He worked for many years as a surgical technician for Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Mikey is remembered for his generosity, and his kindness and compassion impacted many lives in a positive manner. Mikey's children were his dogs Nigel and CC whom he loved with all his heart.

His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown by the staff at the Maine Veteran's Home and his faithful friends.

A celebration of life service will be held in the spring of 2027.
