Carol A. Campbell, 69, of Brewer died after a hard fought battle with cancer, surrounded by loving family. She was born June 9, 1956, the daughter of Richard Campbell and Madelyn Tibbetts.
Carol graduated from Narraguagus High School in 1984. She married her high school sweetheart, Alvin Hall Jr. They were married for 23 years and had three children together. Much of her career was as a waitress with a few years as a cook. One of her main passions was live music. Carol worked at local concerts for the last several years and loved every minute of it. She attended multiple classic and hard rock concerts at small and big venues. She had a large collection of concert t-shirts from all the shows that she attended. Some of her favorite bands/artists were Seether, Clutch, Buckcherry, Pink Floyd, and her all time favorite, Slash. In her free time, she loved being outdoors and finding beauty in nature, especially in flowers, mushrooms, and sunsets. She enjoyed hiking, camping, canoeing, and gardening as well. Her three daughters were the center of her heart and she also had a deep love for her cats Dinger, Sunshine, Alice, and Stanley. Carol was known for her sweet pleasant nature and had the highest level of manners.
She is survived by daughters Debra Florey and her husband Christopher Florey of Saco, Carolyn Hall of North Carolina, April Thibodeau and her husband Allan Thibodeau of Glenburn, and their children Dawson Thibodeau and Micah Thibodeau; three sisters Linda Moore of Denham Springs LA, Sandra Goodkowsky of Orrington, and Mary Stanwood of Bangor; one brother, Dean Campbell of FL; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her mother and father; siblings Richard (Scrapper) Campbell, Thomas (Gator) Campbell, and George Campbell; and grandson Ryker Clark.
There will be a graveside service planned for the spring of 2026 in Cherryfield. The family would like to thank some of her providers, Dr. Wu at Northern Light Cancer Care and Dr. Hoxha at Northern Light Pulmonology for the heartfelt care that she received during her cancer journey.
