Charles Weston

February 3, 1943 — December 5, 2025

Charlie Weston, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025 surrounded by his family. Charlie was the son of Arthur and Mary (Martin) Weston.

Charlie was a proud Army veteran and enjoyed the years he was stationed in Germany. He worked very hard and his family had a wonderful life. Even while working shift work in Millinocket, he poured all the cement, and put up a fence around the swimming pool himself. The whole family enjoyed it for many years. He even built Lynn a Conestoga wagon for her classroom!

Charlie and Lynn were very happy, and enjoyed doing things together. Some of Charlie's favorite days were spent watching Erin and Michael's Penquis games, time at Schoodic Lake, talking with Chris, traveling, and playing golf. Michael and their golf friends will likely remember some "choice words" after a bad shot. He also spent many days with Erin's dog Koda. When Koda had back surgery and couldn't jump, he built a ramp for his buddy so they could still ride in the truck together.

While Charlie had some serious health issues in his later years, he never let it get him down. Special thanks to Cindy, and all our family and friends who helped, called, messaged, or visited us as his illness progressed. We are also especially grateful for the care he received from the nurses and staff at the Bangor VA. Words can't explain the amazing care and love he got there.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn; son, Michael; daughter, Erin; and her partner, Chris; and their children, Brooke, and Dylan; sister, Gayle Cornell; several special cousins; and all the Zwicker, Gerrish, and Lyford families. He was predeceased by Eli and Beverly Zwicker, Margaret Zwicker, and Justin Gerrish.

Charlie's burial will be in the spring, but friends can gather at the American Legion to share memories on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 1:00pm
Those who wish, may make a donation to the Brownville Jct. American Legion in his memory. Ken Stone 410 Church St. Brownville, Me. 04414 attn: American Legion

Rest in peace Charlie. We'll miss you terribly. Life just won't be the same.
