Christopher Monteith

ALTON - Christopher M. Monteith, 53, died unexpectedly March 11, 2024. He was born October 31,1970, in Millinocket, the son of Thomas J. Monteith and Ann (Donley) Monteith.

Chris was a 1989 graduate of Stearns High School. Following graduation, he attended Washinton County Community College, where he graduated with a heavy equipment mechanic degree.

Chris was known for his care-free, witty personality. He was an exceptional father and took pride in raising his son Jackson. He loved fishing, camping, and his new passion was rebuilding four-wheelers.

Chris leaves behind his son, Jackson Monteith; his mother, Ann (Donley) Monteith; brother, Sam Monteith and his wife, Lisa; niece, Sydney Monteith; nephew, Isaac Monteith; a long-time friend, Earl Sanborn, along with many Aunts Uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas.
