Craig B. Corbett, 74, b. July 25, 1951 of Houlton and Carmel, passed away at his home on August 29. He was the son of William and Maxine (Mooers) Corbett of Drew and Lincoln, Maine. He graduated Class of "69," from Lee Academy, Lee, Maine.

Craig served in the United States Navy directly out of high school, anxious to serve his country. He was stationed at the US Naval Support base in Corpus Christi, Texas where he served as a jet mechanic on Navy aircraft carriers. He had many adventures during his time until an injury cut his service time short. He was proud to serve his country and loved to support the DAV where he was a lifetime member. Also, he enjoyed volunteering for the American Legion, snow sled clubs, and local 4H groups.

His favorite times were spent with his dogs and his horses he always could connect with them in a special way. For many years he worked as a blacksmith, traveling Maine, and parts of New Brunswick. He worked, from an early age in the Maine Woods industry and many more years as a long-haul truck driver. His CB handle was "Blacksmith."

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Tonya (Doyle) of Bangor; two sons, Corey of Houlton and his partner, Bridget Ireland and Casey of Carmel and his wife, Misty. Who have cared for Craig, lovingly, in their home for the last few years; His sister, Jacklyn Corbett, of British Columbia, Canada; niece, Laurie Kimball; great niece, Abbey of New Brunswick, Canada; Two special grandchildren, McKenna Tidd of Hodgdon and a grandson, who he loved from a far.

He was predeceased by parents and his brother, William Corbett, Jr.
