Cynthia (Carey-Charrier) Perrell - Newport and Pittsfield - "My dearest Son, take care of yourself and our family. I love you all." After a brief illness, Cindi passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 70. She was admittedly known as a free-spirited non-conformist who often said, "I know the rules, they just don't apply to me." She was born on May 19, 1956, to the late Perley Carey (Carey A. Perrell) and Irene Carey-Nason.
Cindi was a 1974 graduate of Nokomis Regional High School and worked in Kitchen/Bath design, Banking, bookkeeping, and office management over her lifetime. She was known as a "straight shooter" with no filter. You never had to wonder what she thought about any given subject.
She is survived by her loving son Matthew Charrier and his significant other Kelly Madigan, two grandchildren, Emily and Gabriel Charrier, and two bonus grands, Sydney and Parker Graves, all of St. Albans; one niece, Jaime Ellis and her two children, Walker Goins and Gavin Marquis; one nephew, Ryan Ellis and his son RJ Ellis. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Leeann Fraser Dunton, and husband Dennis of Plymouth. Special thanks to sister-in-law, Val Flanders.
In addition to her parents, Cindi was predeceased by several friends who left too soon, and beloved fur babies. She especially missed her two Pekingese, Traveler and Pandabear, as well as her cat, Patches, whose remains will be scattered with hers.
At Cindi's request, there will be no service. She was an avid animal lover and requested donations be made in her memory to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter, in lieu of flowers.
