David Hathorn

MEDFORD - David J. Hathorn, 69, passed June 12, 2025, and fell into the long sleep so peacefully at his home.

Born in Landstuhl, Germany, in a US Army Hospital on December 4, 1955. He spent time in the woods logging and welding for others. He worked for the town of Medford as a Road Commissioner. He met his wife Glenda in 2007, married in 2010, and have never got done with their first date, 19 years later. He has always been a Good Husband and Best Friend. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and snowshoeing, and loved his home.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Ruth L. Hathorn (Kaiser); daughter, Crystal, age 7; and brother, Robert.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Glenda E. Hathorn (Rogers); his daughter, Nikki of Massachusetts; his sister, Eloise Hathorn of Milo, and several extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Medford at 52 Hathorn Road in August at a date to be determined later.
