Donna Elaine Townsend

BANGOR - Donna E. Townsend, 84, died in a local hospital June 7, 2026. She was born February 10, 1942, in New Haven, Connecticut, the daughter of Kenneth Brown and Renee Young.

Donna graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1959 and then, from Husson University, Class of 1986. She worked at Husson University as a registrar for 34 years. She married Merlin Townsend in 1960, celebrating 65 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her 2 boys, Terrie (Patty) and Tyler (Dione); three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
