Ella Georgene Hodgdon

Ella Hodgdon, 86, was born on August 1, 1939, in Hall Quarry, Maine. She passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026, surrounded by all of her loved ones.

Ella's greatest joy in life was her family. She found peace in the outdoors, whether she was fishing, hunting, or tending to her garden, and she also loved playing musical instruments. She had a caring heart and loved helping others wherever she went. She will be remembered for her strength, her hard work in farming, her storytelling, and the deep love she had for caregiving.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Fields, Andrea Fields, and Arnold John Fields Jr.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Johnathan St. Hilaire, Naomi Fields, Elisha DeWitt, Mark Fields, Donielle Fields, Tyler Dan Kingsbury, Tammy Fields, and Craig Fields Jr.

Her great-grandchildren include Abigael, Wyatt, Victoria, Natalie, Blake, and Caiden.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold Fields Sr., and her son, Craig Fields.

There will be no public service. The family will honor her life privately.
