Ellouise Clark

June 6, 1950 — December 15, 2025

Ellouise Clark, 75, of North Anson, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME, following a long hospital stay.

Born on June 6, 1950, in Skowhegan, Ellouise was the loving daughter of the late Afton Hayden and Bernard Hayden.

Ellouise dedicated many years of her life working as an Education Technician at Carrabec High School and other schools in the district. She will be warmly remembered by her colleagues and students for supporting every student to be the best they could be. Ellouise found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed going to local craft fairs and yard sales, and cherished the time spent visiting with friends.

Ellouise is survived by her loving children: Louann Norris, Laurie Sellwood, Dale Clark and his wife, Julie. She leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Melanie and husband Garrett Emery, Bradley Clark, and Benjamin Clark. Ellouise is also survived by her siblings: Leonard Hayden of Newport and Donna Keaton of Skowhegan.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Roxie Wallace and Debra Foss.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center who cared for Ellouise (or "Ellie," as they knew her). The family is deeply thankful for the endless kindness and respect shown-for the reading, comforting, and giving her the best care possible during her final days.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Family Violence Project of Maine.
