Garth Anthony Rogers

BANGOR - With heavy hearts, the family of Garth A. Rogers announces his passing on September 27, 2026 at EMMC with friends and family by his side after a long illness. He was born September 1, 1954, the son of Frank and Grace (Warren) Rogers.

Garth was a hard worker, working as a mechanic for many years at Pottles Transportation. He found joy hopping on his Harley for a ride, spending time with friends at the Elks Club, watching the patriots, and relaxing with a cold beer in hand. Garth had many friends and especially enjoyed his Thirsty Thursday get togethers at the house.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Debbie; are his stepdaughter, Julie Thayer; granddaughter, Emma Thayer; brother, Greg Rogers, and wife, Sandy; sister Lisa Hickson and husband, Bob; sister Leigh Rogers; sister-in-law Diane Rogers; and nephews, Shayne and Kevin Rogers, Jr. Garth was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Kevin and nephew, Jesse Rogers.

A memorial service will be held at the Bangor Elks Club on Sunday, October 11th at 1:00 p.m. where friends and family are invited to share refreshments and conversation. All are welcome to meet at Garth's home 45 minutes prior to the service to proceed to the Elks Club with Garth on his last ride. Motorcycles, cars, and trucks are all invited.
