She loved being surrounded by family and friends at family gatherings, camping, summer picnics, snowmobiling and gardening. How she loved her flowers! She loved picnics at her favorite ocean spot in Stockton Springs. She was a long-time member of the Dixmont Goldcrest Riders Snowmobile Club and a very active member of the Dixmont community. She loved all the dances the snowmobile club used to hold. Betsy was almost always in attendance with her best friends, Fran, Sylvia, and Janet. She loved spending summers at Jo Mary Lake. Her favorite summer activity was the family reunion with all of her in-laws and many many nieces and nephews.
Besty was a very kind and loving woman. She would help anyone who asked and usually when she wasn't even asked. She touched many lives throughout her life. She was a beacon of hope everywhere she went. She played a large part in helping to raise all her grandchildren. She helped to shape them all into the successful adults they are today. You can see pieces of her in every single one of her grandchildren.
