Glendon Wakefield Faloon

Glendon W. Faloon, 88, of Howland, died March 26, 2026, at a Bangor Nursing Facility. He was born December 9, 1937, in Howland, Maine, the son of R. Woodrow Faloon and Alice (Wakefield) Faloon.

Glendon graduated from Penobscot Valley High School in 1956. He worked as a welder for many years, and later worked for Fastco and the Town of Howland. He enjoyed playing golf in his later years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Gloria (McKechnie) Faloon, are his children, Brent, Glenda, Tammy, and Denise, his stepchildren, Lynn, Glen, Julie, Paul, and Cynthia, 15 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Westgate Manor in Bangor.

Glendon will be remembered for his quiet, steady presence, his strength, and the lasting place he holds in the hearts of those who love him.
