Joshua James Hoover

Joshua James Hoover passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2026 in Orrington Maine. He was born on July 4,1980 in Bangor Maine.

Josh was a joy to be around.His magnetic personality was hard to resist. He enjoyed the New York Yankees and listening to all types of music. One of his passions was collecting Nike sneakers, he had accumulated over 60 pairs of them! He loved hanging out with his close friends and really enjoyed his job at Sandollar pools and Spas of Bangor Maine.

Josh is survived by his loving parents his father Lee Hoover of Corrinth, Maine and his mother Sharon Eddy of Brewer, Maine. His son Isaac Craft of Columbus, Georgia. His older brother Ryan Hoover and his wife, Alicia and his children Kinzie,Ryder and Lyric of Terrehaute ,Indiana.His recent fiance Meagan Somes and her two children Kullen and Anna of Orrington, Maine. His Aunt Debbie and Uncle Wayne Jamieson and their children Dave and Heather and granddaughter, Alisha. Uncle Tony and Aunt Danielle and their daughter Tonya Moniz. Aunt Diane and Uncle Mike Mosley and Aunt Deanie and Uncle Mike Holland and their daughter Kristi and her family.

Josh was predeceased by Grandparents Dodie and Durward Bell. Tony and Laurie Moniz. Step father John Eddy and his cousin Laura Swanzinger,as well as numerous otherAunts, Uncles and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life June 7 2026 at 1pm at the Calvary Baptist Church on Parker St Brewer Maine.

His parents appreciate all the support and kind words of comfort.
