Justin Richard Rodgerson

Hermon

Justin Richard Rodgerson, 33, of Hermon, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2025, at Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was born on January 31, 1992, in Bangor, the beloved son of Richard and Jan (Trainor) Rodgerson.

A 2010 graduate of Hampden Academy, Justin was a proud Bronco who played both baseball and football. After graduation, he entered the workforce and was a dedicated employee of Williams Irrigation for many years. Justin was also a loyal and active member of the Howard Masonic Lodge, where he served as Past Master and was a devoted brother to many.

Justin had a passion for the outdoors, fishing, music, movies, and sports-but above all, he cherished time with his family and friends. His lifelong friendships with Bradley, Bradford, Jake, Jacob, and Matt meant the world to him. He was also deeply connected to his slow-pitch softball community, where teammates like Rosier-who was like a brother to him-Pelkey, Lavs, and many others became a second family.

Justin married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Kristen (Wilcox) Rodgerson, and together they built a beautiful life in Hermon. They recently celebrated 15 years together and 4 years of marriage in May. Their home was filled with love, laughter, two dogs-Opie and Brady -and their two adored sons, Knox Gilbert and Blake Anthony, lovingly called "his goobers." The couple was also joyfully expecting another child. Justin's family was his greatest pride and joy, and he poured his heart into being a loving husband and father.

In addition to his wife Kristen, Justin is survived by his children, Knox and Blake, and their unborn sibling; his parents, Rick and Jan; his brother and best friend, Nick; grandmothers, Patricia Trainor and Shirley Rodgerson; father- and mother-in-law, Frank and Barbie (Alexander) Rapp; father-in-law, Anthony Wilcox; sisters-in-law, Kayla (Wilcox) Haughton, Kenzie Wilcox, and Brookie Rapp; Nana and Pop, Donald and Roberta Alexander; nieces, Aliyah and Amari Haughton, and Everly Lowery; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Gilbert Rodgerson and David L. Trainor; his aunts, Lorraine Rodgerson and Linda Trainor; and cousins, Matthew Couture and Ryan Gardner.

A celebration of Justin's life will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Anah Shrine, 1404 Broadway, Bangor, Maine. All are welcome to attend and share in remembering the life of a remarkable man who touched so many.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been created to support Justin's family during this difficult time.
