Kevin LaHaye

July 11, 1973 — November 17, 2025

Bangor - Kevin A. LaHaye, age 52, passed away at home on November 17, 2025, after a hard fought, prolonged, battle with illness. He was born on July 07, 1973, in Bangor, the beloved son of Linda Worcester and Arthur (Stormy) LaHaye.

Kevin was a lifelong resident of the greater Bangor area, where he was well known and had built many meaningful friendships over the years, remaining especially close to his long-time best friend, Eric Allen. Kevin held family close to his heart but above all, Kevin's greatest affection was devoted to his loyal side kick and companion, Sasha, his beloved 10-year-old black lab mix.

Together, Kevin and Sasha shared countless moments walking by the water, visiting friends and family as well as simply enjoying quiet time together. There was almost nowhere he would go without her. When it came to meals, Kevin was always sure to save Sasha a plate or offer her his; this included desserts too. To Kevin, Sasha was not just a pet but the most cherished member of his family.

Though Kevin is no longer with us, his love for those who were close to him will forever remain in our hearts. His kindness, warmth, and devotion to family-and to Sasha-will never be forgotten.

Surviving, in addition to his brother Shawn LaHaye of Bangor, his sister Chrystal Hathorn and her husband Adam of Orono and his sister Heather Sickles of Bangor are 5 Aunts, Brenda Worcester, Nancy Worcester, Elaine Peterson, Kathy LaHaye Paris, Arlene LaHaye Wells, 4 Uncles, John Worcester, Donald LaHaye, Gene LaHaye and Richard LaHaye, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his aunt Robin, aunt Donna, aunt Cheryl, and his uncle Timmy as well as one niece, Merina Kingsbury, who he adored.
