Linda "Faye" Burrill, 65, passed away on May 26, 2026. She was born on August 24, 1960, in Macon, Georgia, to Arthur Thomas "Tommy" Clark Sr. and Annie Linda Clark, both of whom preceded her in death.
Linda shared nearly 42 years of marriage with her beloved husband, James Burrill Jr., a retired United States Navy veteran. Together they built a family that remained at the center of her life.
She is survived by her husband, James Burrill Jr.; her daughters, Christine Bas and her husband Ronald "Ronnie" Bas, Robyne Hunt and her husband Austin Hunt, Savannah Burrill, and Becky Prier and her husband Jasper Prier. She was a loving grandmother to Tyler Green and his wife Morgan, Joshua Bas, Colby Bas, Payten Hunt, Sophia Hunt, Lorelai Prier, and Michael Prier.
Linda is also survived by her mother-in-law, Della Lee; her brother-in-law, Scott Burrill and his fiancée, Melissa; her sister, Kaye Alexander and her husband Michael Alexander; her brothers, Arthur Thomas "Tommy" Clark Jr. and Jimmy Clark; her beloved Aunt Jo and Aunt Dot of Alabama; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James Burrill Sr., and her beloved grandchildren, Benjamin Houston Johnson IV, Leslie Leigh Johnson, Thomas James Johnson, and Ryan Steven Johnson.
Linda's greatest joy was caring for others and bringing happiness to those around her. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making people smile, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for family and friends touched countless lives.
She found peace and happiness in the simple things she loved most. Linda enjoyed crafting and spending time in her beloved "She-Cave," where music was often playing as she worked on her latest creation. She loved tending to her flowers, feeding the birds that gathered in her yard, and could often be found whistling like a bird while checking on her gardens. She loved to dance and sing along to her favorite songs, filling her home with warmth and joy.
An avid reader, Linda enjoyed losing herself in a good novel and challenging herself with crossword and Sudoku puzzles. She embraced life with a free spirit that could never be broken and a heart that held room for everyone. Whether it was family, friends, or someone she had just met, Linda shared her love freely and made those around her feel valued and welcome.
Above all else, Linda cherished her family. The love she gave so generously will continue to live on through the many lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
