Carmel- Linda Jean Harper Elston passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2025,
with her loved ones by her side.
She was born in Bangor on October 22, 1952, the daughter of John Harper, Everett Danfoth Sr.
and Ellen Danforth.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Marion Elston; brothers, Francis and Robert Harper; and sister, Patricia Noyes.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne Elston; daughter, Connie Elston; grandchildren, Chelsea Elston and Brenden Boulay; sisters, Mary Moors, Nancy Harper and husband, Walter, and Susan Grisham; brothers, John Harper, Leo Harper and his wife, Ressie, Richard Danforth and his wife, Christine; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda enjoyed many things including watching her soaps during the day. She enjoyed going to yard sales, Dairy Queen in the summer with her sisters, and going for car rides. She also enjoyed watching the New York Yankees with her husband. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends such as Rosie, Wanita and Debbie who were there often during her illness.
Linda was a bright light and the glue that held her family together and she will be greatly missed and forever loved.
