Lucile White, 83, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 20, 2025, at Ledgewood Manor in Windham, Maine. She was born February 2, 1942, the daughter of Clarence Irving Herrick and Elizabeth (Pingree) Herrick.
She was preceded in death by her second husband Everett L. White; her sister Elaine (Herrick) Stevens; and her brother Eugene Herrick.
Lucile is survived by her son and his spouse, David and Anne Marie Murch; five grandchildren, Kevin, Amanda, Pierre Line, Vania, and Jesula; and five great grandchildren. Through her second marriage later in life, Lucile was blessed with a large family of stepchildren and their spouses, their grandchildren, and their great grandchildren.
In her final years, Lucile was also blessed by her friends and "family" at Ledgewood Manor. Especially dear to her was her roommate Mae Santos who was her "partner in crime". From day one, Mae's children (Bob Queen, Jim Queen, Karen Queen, and Nancy Alger) were very welcoming to Lucile. They always treated her as one of their own, and this meant the world to Lucile.
