Martha Ellen Worster

Martha E. Worster, 95, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026 at a local nursing facility. She was born on April 14, 1930, the daughter of Raymond and Louise (Ryder) Moody.

Martha was raised in the Kingman area and attended local schools until the sixth grade. After she moved to Bangor, she met and married Clifford Worster. Together, they raised two children and celebrated 57 years of marriage before Clifford's passing in 2001.

Martha enjoyed cooking, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, and spent many years volunteering at the Smith School in Winterport.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was predeceased by two sisters, Gloria Lee and Barbara McKay. She is survived by her sons, Michael Worster and his wife, Stephanie, and Allen Worster and his wife, Carol; grandchildren, Shelly Bourgoin and her husband, Keith, Craig Worster and his wife, Patti, Corey Worster and his wife, Kelsey, Kayla Worster, and Chad Worster and his wife, Lauren; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Madison, Patrick, Ashlan, Megan, Annaleise, Riley, Quinton, Aiden, Brennen, and Chloe; special niece, Robin Pasternack; nephew, Earl Lee II; niece, Deborah Shannon and her husband, Chris.
