Maxine Virginia Barnett

Eddington - Maxine V. Barnett, 81, passed away 25 June, 2026, at a local hospital. She was born September 18, 1944, in Bangor, the daughter of Benjamin L. and Charlotte E. (Simpson) True. Maxine worked at Goldstar Cleaners for many years.

Maxine is survived by two daughters, Darlene Reynolds and husband, Ken of Eddington and Joyce Curley and husband, Dave of Hermon, three grandchildren, Angela of Eddington, Amber of Brewer and David of Scott AFB, IL, six great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Autumn, Sawyer, Lincoln, Warren and Gunner, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Howard M., May 19, 2002 and son, Howard M. JR June 19, 2022, three brothers, Reginald, Robert and Richard True, and three sisters, Barbara Philbrick, Ellen Barnett and Joan Hamel.

It was Maxine's request that graveside funeral services would be for immediate family only.
