Rhonda Marie Carver, 65, passed away on April 3, 2026, after a hard-fought and courageous battle.
She was born on April 20, 1960 in Millinocket, the daughter of Fred and Rena Bagley.
Rhonda was a woman defined by her faith, her strength and love for her family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, a beloved sister, a cherished aunt, and a proud Mimi. Roles she carried with pride and a full heart.
She shared a special love with her husband in the simple, meaningful moments they cherished together. Summer buggy rides, day trips to Oxford, and quiet nights at home, talking and watching Wheel of Fortune. Family was everything to Rhonda, and that love carried through every relationship in her life. She shared an especially close bond with her daughter, Kristin, built on almost daily conversations, unwavering love, and a lifetime of shared memories. Her bond with her sisters was rooted in lifelong friendships, laughter, and unwavering support. She especially loved their annual paint-and-sip gatherings with her daughter and nieces. Moments filled with creativity, laughter, and memories she would always cherish. Being a Mimi brought her endless joy, and her grandson, Wyatt, was a constant light in her life. She was also filled with love and excitement for her unborn granddaughter, who was already so deeply cherished. Her relationship with her son-in-law, Cliff, was full of humor and warmth. His playful teasing, even popping wheelies in her wheelchair, always brought her laughter, or laughable frustration.
She was known for her dedication and strong work ethic, spending many years working at Mardens and later at KSW Credit Union in Waterville. She took pride in her work and the relationships she built along the way, leaving a lasting impression on colleagues, members, customers and all of those who knew her.
Rhonda found comfort and happiness in life's simple pleasures. She was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox, always cheering them on through every season. She enjoyed the excitement of slot machines and the peace and warmth of cruising. Some of her most peaceful moments were spent on summer days, sitting on her back porch, simply enjoying the quiet and the comfort of the warm sun. And of course, she never missed an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
To know Rhonda was to know warmth, resilience, and quiet strength. Despite facing health challenges throughout her life, she met each day with grace and determination, choosing kindness and compassion for others no matter what she was going through. Her kind smile and generous heart made others feel cared for, and she was always willing to help anyone in need.
Rhonda was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Rena Bagley.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Allen Carver; her daughter, Kristin and her husband, Cliff Warren; her beloved grandson, Wyatt; and her unborn granddaughter, who was already so deeply loved. She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda and partner, Laurel Morrison, Cheri and her husband, Dave Beaulieu, Debbie and her husband, Kenny Cummings, and Michelle and her husband, Scott Kilcollins; her brother, Fred Bagley Jr: her special nieces and nephews who had such a special place in her heart, Kendra, Jason, Mike, Nick, Ryan, Ashley, Brittney, Taylor, Riley, Bentley, Griffin, Lacey, Paislee, Belle, Bowen, Bryson, Carter, Parker; and special aunts and uncles that she loved dearly.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11am at St. Martin of Tours Church in Millinocket, Maine with graveside service to follow.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Maine Medical Center and Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center for their compassion, care, and the efforts made to help Rhonda.
Rhonda's presence was a gift, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
