Rose Marie Dunton, 70, passed away at her daughter's home on Saturday, December 6th, after a short battle with brain cancer. She was born December 1,1955 to Gifford and Sylvia (Theriault) Colson, of Winterport. Rose Marie was a woman of all trades but was very proud of getting her cosmetology license and later becoming a school bus driver. She spent many years in Arizona where she also was able to live her dream of being a cowgirl and owning her own horse. If you asked her though, her greatest accomplishments were her children. Renee and Roger were her world, and she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. Being able to be at home with them during her final months was her greatest wish.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Allen, Sylvio, and Michael.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee; son, Roger; brother, Ernest and his wife, Linda Colson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Per her request there will be no service, but she would encourage everyone to give their loved ones an extra hug as you never know how long you will have.
