Rose Marie Williams

Rose M. Williams ,65, of Beals and Brooks, Maine, passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on October 30th, 2026, with her loving family by her side. 

Rose suffered from health issues for much of her life but was always a fighter and gave it all she could to recover. She worked some years in the logging industry in Brooks and many years in a sardine factory until she became disabled.

Rose loved animals and had many pets over the years. Most recently her border collie, Prince, and cat, Mickey Mack. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Lamb of God, in Jonesport.

She is survived by one son, Curtis Williams, of Jonesport; her companion Cathy Alley, of Beals; sister, Nancy Curtis, of Warren, Texas; Stanley Curtis and wife, Sally, of Brooks; stepson, Allan Thibodeau and wife, April, and their sons, Dawson and Micah, of Glenburn; stepson, Daniel Thibodeau and wife, Andrea; special granddaughter, Susie Jo of Jonesport; she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Texas and in Brooks, Me; and a special friend, Arnie Smith of Jonesport.

She was predeceased by her mother, Sylvia Curtis; and Stepfather, Sonny Cole, of Brooks; also special friend, Susie Alley of Beals.

As she had a love for Elvis, we hope she isn't chasing him too hard in Heaven.

There will be a graveside service at the Bayside Cemetery in Jonesport at 1pm on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, with Elder Frank Sheppard officiating. After there will be a Celebration of Life and refreshments at the Lamb of God Church Jonesport.
