Samuel L. Hitchings II
Enfield-Bangor
Samuel L. Hitchings II, 69, died peacefully June 20, 2022, at home on Cold Stream Pond. He was born in Skowhegan, May 25, 1953.
Sam was a proud member of the Bangor Fire department for 20 years.
Once retired, he continued with his love of all things fast; boats, cars and motor cycles.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Robin L.B. Hitchings; brother, Craig Hitchings and wife Mary; sister, Laurie Sherwood Booker.
Services and burial will be private.
Those wishing to remember Sam in a special way may contribute in his memory to the Animal Orphanage, 71 Airport Rd., Old Town, ME. 04468; or the Shaw House 136 Union St., Bangor, ME. 04401.
