Sharon M. Weeks, 77, of Kenduskeag, passed on April 4, 2025, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born October 29, 1947. She grew up in Rio Vista CA, the daughter of Wilbur and Dorothy (Lahaie) Callaway.
Sharon enjoyed a long prosperous life that had many different adventures, though she never met a challenge she could not overcome. In her first marriage she had her first child, a son, Russell A. Long. In the beginning of 1980, she met her salty seaman, (her second husband) Arthur L. Weeks, who had two daughters from a previous marriage; Theresa Ann Weeks and Tenisha Lynn Weeks. They later had their final child, a daughter, Danielle Marie Weeks. They were married for nearly 44 years and had many adventures ranging from a trip to Hawaii for their honeymoon to living on the small island of Sitka Alaska. They returned to California up until 1998 where they purchased a lot of land in Maine to retire on.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Arthur L. Weeks; are her son, Russell Long and his wife, Tracy, of Dexter; daughters, Theresa A Weeks of Troy, Tenisha L. Weeks of Canastotia, NY., and Danielle M. and her husband, Joshua, of Kenduskeag; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janell Crouson and Althea Rosewall of Rio Vista, CA.; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by a brother, Leroy (Butch) Callaway; as well as a grandson, Joshua C. Long.
