Shirley White

Shirley Lee (Reynolds) White, 85, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025 at the Brewer Rehab and Nursing Home. She was born on August 27, 1940, the daughter of Linwood Scott and Lena Lee (Burton) Reynolds.

Shirley worked in cosmetology, banking, and retail throughout her life. She was always very artistic and creative. She loved to paint, crochet, sew, complete complicated jigsaw puzzles, and play bingo.

Shirley is survived by her three daughters, LeeAnne Small and her husband, Richard, of Villages, FL and Bangor, ME., Renee Searway Waterman of Glenburn, and Stacy Smith and her husband, Jamie, of Bradford; grandchildren, Heather Magee, Donnie Searway and Joshua Smith; great-grandchildren, Sagan Magee, Kaidance Dorr, Aiden, Ashton, Aubrey, and Sebastian Searway; step grandson, Tyler Smith; step great-grandchildren, Bradlee and Novalee Smith. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Allen Jay White; her parents; brothers, Clayton Joseph (Burton) Golightly and Kenneth Scott Reynolds; and grandson, Justin Searway.

Her two chihuahuas, Cocoa and Coal, were her constant companions and will miss Shirley immensely.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held in the spring, followed by interment in Birch Hill Cemetery, Glenburn.
