Sienna May Botta, née Quigley, passed away peacefully on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by close family and friends.

Born on July 13, 1946, in Brooklyn, Sienna carried with her a strong faith in God, deep compassion, and unwavering love for her family throughout her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and cherished member of her community.

Sienna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerald Alfred Botta, who passed away in 1978. Though widowed at a young age, she devoted her life to raising her family with strength, kindness, and resilience.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Teresa, Karen, and Gerald; her grandsons, Devin, Xzavier, Peyton "Kenny", Keegan, and Malachi; and her great-grandchildren, Asher, Akira, and Zayden. She also leaves behind many bonus children and grandchildren whose lives she touched deeply with her love, generosity, and guidance.

Sienna's family roots remained close to her heart, especially her extended family in Connecticut. She was a faithful member of the Bucksport Methodist Church and dedicated many years as a volunteer at HOME Co-op, where she built lasting friendships and gave generously of her time and compassion to others.

Known for her sense of humor, caring heart, and ability to make people feel welcomed and loved, Sienna created family wherever she went. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those fortunate enough to know her.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her love and legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she nurtured and the family she treasured so deeply. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Simple Cremation of Maine. A celebration of life/service will be announced at a later date.
